The Infonet Programme of the Social Development Network (SODNET) hosted a screening of 10 tactics for turning information into action at the United Nations Office Nairobi (UNON) in partnership with UN Habitat. After the screening, there was a round-table discussion on info-activism. Mikel Maron from Open Streetmaps and John Kipchumbah from SODNET, who both appear in the 10 tactics film, spoke at this event.

The participating organizations focus their activities on harm reduction, sex workers’ rights and access to health services. The screening will be in English and Russian and will be followed by a discussion of participants on their experience of advocacy in their fields of work. The HCLU/TASZ team will share their experience of using ICT in advocacy efforts in Hungary.
